Art in situ sur la Route des Grands Crus

Art In Situ - Sur la Route des Grands Crus" initiated by the association "La Route des Arts" was conceived as a sensual alternative to the excesses of screens and virtualization.

The aim is to cultivate the fertile ground of the obvious understanding between art and wine, to re-enchant our view of the terroir, while inscribing a long-term cooperation between galleries, estates and spectators.

At the crossroads of the sensitive intuitions of the galleries and the complex and delicate work of the Burgundy estates, to create a space where people, art and wine meet.

The 2022-2023 edition of Art In Situ, inaugurated in November 2022, brings together nine sites and estates from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte de Beaune that have agreed to open their doors to contemporary artworks by fourteen national and international artists.

The three precursor estates Bouchard Père et Fils (Beaune), Maurice Chapuis (Aloxe-Corton) and Caves Patriarche (Beaune) are joined by the estates Méo-Camuzet (Vosnes-Romanée), Henri de Villamont (Savigny-lès-Beaune), Prosper-Maufoux (Saint-Aubin), Bonneau du Martray (Pernand-Vergelesses), the Maison Jacques Copeau (Pernand-Vergelesses) and the Hôtel Le Cep (Beaune)

They host several works over the course of a year, depending on their choices, their tastes and the environment, thus creating a natural route of obvious interest.
