Fill up your race pack by taking part in the Montrachet Trail Run. In return, you’ll get a healthy dose of sport, laughter and a friendly atmosphere!
What you’ll find at the event:
- 1 drinks station on the 20 km route and none on the 10 km route. At the finish line, a full refreshment station awaits you. Don’t forget to bring your reusable cup;
- A gift presented when you collect your race number;
- No showers or changing rooms, but a warm, dry area to get changed;
- The stunning scenery of Chassagne-Montrachet, in the heart of the Côte-d’Or vineyards.
A closer look at the route:
Setting off from the village hall, you’ll follow the paths that wind through the vineyards of the Côte Beaunoise and the forest. You’ll pass by the magnificent Moulin de Santenay. Along the 20 km route, you’ll be able to admire the sunset over the Chassagne plateau, weather permitting. Before reaching it, you’ll have to tackle a few fairly steep climbs. Afterwards, you’ll get a chance to catch your breath on a few kilometres of flatter terrain before heading back down some fairly challenging slopes where you might need to switch on your head torch. But a bit of a challenge is what we’re after in trail running, and you’re sure to have a great time! The finish will be marked by a superb and delicious refreshment station.
3 (very) good reasons to take part:
- A variety of race formats; solo or in pairs for the 10 km, a 20 km semi-night race – there’s something for everyone!
- The chance to (re)discover the region’s magnificent landscapes and hidden natural treasures;
- The warm, friendly atmosphere of the event.
