An exceptional evening with a brand-new programme at the Cité in Beaune!
In partnership with the Burgundy Astronomical Society, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening. Discover Burgundy as you’ve never seen it before, from the earth to the sky, from the vineyards to the stars.
This year, the Night of the Stars takes on a special significance in the run-up to the partial solar eclipse on 12 August: a unique opportunity to discover this fascinating phenomenon through activities and explanations offered throughout the evening.
On the programme:
• Guided tour
Immerse yourself in the history of Burgundy wines through a multi-sensory tour! A activity booklet will allow children to follow the tour with their heads in the stars.

. Along the tour route, help design the ‘Galaxie de la Cité’ in a continuous hands-on workshop.
Activities supervised by the Burgundy Astronomical Society
. Observing the Sun and the stars: Supervised by members of the Burgundy Astronomical Society, observe the Sun and then the beauty of the night sky through telescopes set up on all five floors of the Cité!
. Model demonstrating a solar eclipse: To mark the total eclipse scheduled for 12 August, find out more about this fascinating phenomenon.
