Journey to the heart of the Corsican soul with VOX CORSICA, a group well known to Corsicans and mainlanders alike. BEAUNE 25th April 2026 - 7.30pm Immerse yourself in the depth and captivating beauty of Corsican voices through our concert. VOX CORSICA, with its spirit of contemplation and sharing, invites you to plunge into the heart of Corsican identity and discover our age-old vocal art, a living, vibrant culture handed down through the generations and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (paghjella). THE PROGRAMME: 1h30 of sacred and secular songs with our 4 singers and guitarists, combining spiritual fervour and life stories, which resonate in an intimate dialogue between man and his Corsican land, between the past and the present, celebrating the beauty of the mountains, the memory of the elders, the life of Corsican shepherds and the events of everyday life. The polyphonic singing is especially marked by 3 men (3 voices) who answer each other a capella: U BASSU (the lowest voice, representing strength) A SECUNDA (the main singer who sings the song and represents wisdom) A TERZA (the highest voice, bringing beauty and ending the chord). Let yourself be transported by these touching, vibrant and poignant harmonies, in which each voice of VOX CORSICA finds its place in a subtle, racy balance between raw strength and intense fragility.
