Friday 26 January / 8.30pm - Cie du Bonheur Verte
"Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard
Chekhov's last play, premiered in 1904, is about a world on the brink of collapse, where Russia's last penniless nobles are confronted with the rise of new self-made men and the revolutionary ideals on the march. For Lyubov, the Cherry Orchard symbolises the lost paradise of childhood. For Lopakhine, the son of a muzhik, acquiring it is a dream that seems unattainable.
All these characters are witnessing the end of a world not so far removed from our own...

Saturday 27 January / 8.30pm - Cie Théâtrale du Cercle Saint Louis

Immediate boarding on a plane like no other... Anxious passengers, a phlegmatic Englishman, a couple disturbed by attitude, pilots who use their charms and stewardesses who catch your eye... Happy turbulence ahead!
