DAY 1
Arrival in Beaune and free lunch
Early afternoon visit to the Hospices de Beaune.
Founded in 1443 by Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor of the Dukes of Burgundy, it is emblematic of the region's hospital heritage: a veritable palace for the poor, it is the most eloquent example of Burgundian Flemish art. Its polychrome roofs are famous.
The polyptych of the Last Judgement, commissioned from the painter Rogier van der Weyden, remains the jewel in the crown of the collections.

Visit to the cellars. We invite you to discover the Caves du Patriarche.
This former Ursuline convent is steeped in history. You will discover part of this labyrinth of more than 5 km of vaulted galleries dating back to the 13th century, housing millions of bottles.
