You'll be staying in the former presbytery of Change, one of the oldest houses in the village. Burgundy ceilings, terracotta floor tiles, exposed stone walls: the parish priest and the nuns who once worked within these walls have left us a beautiful legacy. Incidentally, the street where our guest house is located is called rue de la Soupe, as the nuns used to provide meals in this house. Today, our little rue de la Soupe has become a quiet cul-de-sac, but this history is still very much alive and important in understanding the unique atmosphere of the place.
La Maison du curé now has six newly-renovated rooms, offering charming, spacious accommodation (the original roof timbers, visible in some of the rooms, are splendid) with all modern comforts and meticulous finishing touches. We have preserved the identity of this old building full of potential while adding that little extra touch of modernity that makes all the difference.
As the six double rooms are independent, they can be rented together or separately, as you wish.
Good to know for families: the rooms La Fussière and Les Petits Noizons are adjoining and can therefore communicate as they share a common landing.
