Stage de chant choral baroque

A new way to experience the Beaune Festival! In line with the summer programme, a week to deepen your experience of choral singing from a 'historically informed' perspective. Under the guidance of Lucile de Trémiolles, choral conductor and sought-after teacher, the students will set off to discover English music of the 16th and 17th centuries (Purcell, Blow, Handel, etc.). A final concert will showcase their work, and they will also be invited to join their voices for some of the great choruses of Messiah, to be performed on 25 July at the Basilica. This course is open to any musician with previous experience of choral music, or with musical training in another field.
