L'OS à MOELLE

When the first issue of L'OS à MOELLE hit the newsstands on 13 May 1938, Pierre Dac, the magazine's founder, probably never imagined it would be such a success: 400,000 copies sold!

Whether you're with your family, in the office, in a bar or in the playground, the laughter around this unusual weekly, dedicated to NONSENSE and resistance to Nazism through the absurd, is the same. The success of L'organe officiel des loufoques continued right up until the outbreak of the "phoney war", which was not to bring a smile for long. On 7 June 1940, the paper published its last issue... a week later, the Germans entered Paris.

L'OS à MOELLE was innovative; it has become timeless! Many of today's comedians have something of Pierre Dac in them. And his spirit undoubtedly lives on in Anne-Marie Lazarini, who takes her hat off to the inventor of the Biglotron and the creator of Signé Furax, who never lost his zaniness.
