At the 166th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, the history of the winery takes centre stage! In 1859, the first Wine Sale took place at the Hôtel-Dieu, the starting point of an adventure that developed throughout the 19th century. From the correspondence of Joseph Pétasse, bursar of the Hôtel-Dieu, to the catalogue of the vintages, retrace the stages in the creation of this emblematic Burgundy wine event.
