To open a book by Jean Giono is to open a door onto tormented landscapes and a humanity swept up in the dance of the seasons. There is not only wonder, but also vertigo. Men and trees writhe in the same cold winds, under the same crazy suns.

"This show respects my father's texts down to the last comma. It's enchanting, and that's not a weak word. It recreates the rise of the sap of nature, wounded and abused by mankind, which takes revenge by making them exhaust themselves in a demonic dance unleashed by the God Pan who has returned to earth.
