The Festival Musical et Théâtral de Santenay is back for another edition, from 28 July to 1 August 2025, promising to be a richly emotional experience. Organised jointly by the Casino JOA de Santenay and the Compagnie La Griotte, with the support of the town council and the Comité des Fêtes, this cultural event has become a must for all lovers of music, theatre and the performing arts.

Monday 28 July - Concert: "TRIO THIERRY CAENS - Du Petit Bal à la Grande Musique" - 8.30pm
Discover the Trio Caens-Garcia-Sylvan, an exceptional trio combining trumpet, accordion and double bass. This innovative group draws on a wide range of musical styles, from classical music to bals musette, film soundtracks and French chanson. Tuesday 29 July - Concert: "ALMA DEL MUNDO" - 8.30pm
Let yourself be carried away by guitarist El Pequele and his authentic flamenco. Somewhere between tradition and modernity, this intimate concert reveals a vibrant, emotionally-charged flamenco, where every note tells a passionate, heartfelt story.
Wednesday 30 July - Theatre: "AL CAPONE" - 8.30pm
Relive the saga of the famous American gangster Al Capone in a show combining theatre, music and archive footage from the period. This original creation offers a captivating look at Prohibition in Chicago, with an immersive staging that won over audiences in Avignon. Written and directed by C. Delort (responsible for Sherlock Holmes presented in Santenay in 2023 and 2024).
Thursday 31 July - Theatre: "PARLEZ-MOI DE MOI" - 8.30pm
The fourth show by Toizémoi duo Alain Chapuis and Marie Blanche. Dive into this comedy full of humour and self-mockery in which Benjamin, an actor, goes through a whirlwind of emotions and confrontations with his friend Yann. Between misunderstandings and revelations, artistic agent Mathilde orchestrates a funny and dynamic story written by Alain Chapuis.
Friday 1 August - Theatre: "RECETTES DE FAMILLE" - 8.30pm
Don't miss this effervescent comedy! At a family brunch, Louise reveals her husband's infidelity to her sisters. What follows is a series of zany situations and hilarious stratagems to keep the secret. A zany and very funny montage with performers well known to audiences in Santen: Pascale Michaud, Jean-Philippe Azéma. Co-produced by Théâtre Montreux Riviera.
