Festival de Bach à Bacchus - Concert, Trio Bergonzi : "Ludwig van Beethoven, Trios op9 N° 1, 2 et3"

To mark the bicentenary of Beethoven's death, the Bergonzi Trio is offering a complete performance of the string trios Opus 3, Opus 8 and the three trios Opus 9. As part of the Meursault concert, the trio will be playing the 3 trios Opus 9, Nos. 1, 2 and 3.
Created in 1984, the Trio Bergonzi (Daniel Weissmann, Frédéric Lainé, Alain Courmont) has enjoyed a fruitful period of concerts and recordings over more than 10 years, and a long series of successes. Because of the quality of its project and its level of excellence, the Ministry of Culture installed the trio in residence in Burgundy, as part of a musical mission to teach and disseminate the group's highly varied and virtuoso repertoire.
Today, the trio is back together for a project to perform all of its string trios, Opus 3 and 8, and the three Opus 9 trios, to mark the bicentenary of Beethoven's death. The trio re-formed in January 2024 also marks the complicity of the current musicians in the group; they have been heavily involved in musical life for many years and have each raised their reputation as chamber music performers to an international level.
