Patricia DELORME and Jean-Yves PETIT are professional artists who live and work in the Drôme region of France. Most of the time, they exhibit their work together at solo shows and art fairs.
Patricia DELORME paints imaginary landscapes and seascapes in acrylics, where you can see something immensely familiar and at the same time a distant unknown. In 2024, the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts de PARIS awarded her the Prix Charles Cottet for the work of a landscape painter.
Jean-Yves PETIT, a former intensive care doctor turned sculptor, recreates a dreamlike underwater world, populated by slender, curvaceous creatures. He presents his sculptures in BRONZE with a blue patina or in tinted CEMENT.
There's an enchanting gentleness in both their worlds, somewhere between realism and abstraction, worlds that reveal an elsewhere that echoes the inner worlds we all inhabit.
