Concert by the Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon at the Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi, in partnership with the Mairie de Santenay.
For the second year running, the Mairie de Santenay and the Domaine du Château Philippe le Hardi are hosting the Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon on 10 October.
This is another opportunity to combine music and wine in a historic setting such as the emblematic residence of Philippe le Hardi, Duke of Burgundy, in Santenay.
As a prelude, from 7pm onwards, a selection of the estate's wines will be on offer in the château. This tasting will provide an opportunity to explore the Burgundy Climats through a number of appellations from the 98 hectares of vineyards spread over the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
From 8.30pm, a concert by the Ensemble Orchestral de Dijon, conducted by Flavien Boy.
Conductor Flavien Boy likes to forge original links between works, performers and audiences. As a guest conductor (Orchestre d'Avignon, Ensemble NEXT, Orchestre Symphonique Tunisien, etc.), he performs regularly in France and abroad: Guildhall in London, Philharmonie in Paris, Cité de la Musique in Tunis, Halle aux Grains in Toulouse, etc. He frequently works with youth and student orchestras and regularly teaches conducting. He is also involved in the DEMOS programme run by the Philharmonie de Paris, notably alongside the Orchestre de Paris.

- Haydn's Cello Concerto No. 2 in D Major with soloist Marie Branquet
Cellist Marie Branquet is a graduate of the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne and the Ecole Supérieure de Musique de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. She plays in a number of professional orchestras, including the Colonne Orchestra in Paris and occasionally with the Dijon Bourgogne Orchestra.
- Mozart's Symphony No. 25 in G Minor
Price: Admission €15, including access to the wine tasting and concert
Children (under 18): €10, with access to the concert only.
