Art'GentiK highlights two creative and artistic dimensions inherent to Chalon-sur-Saône, Mehdi Diouri's home town: photography and dance.

Here, the choreographer examines the object - the camera - but also the art of photography. In the age of digital technology, which has made photography a commonplace and everyday activity, everyone becomes a photographer and a model. All in movement, the roles are reversed, alternated and merged, in the same way that spontaneity, naturalness and staging follow one another.

Mehdi Diouri's creation hums with the meeting of its performers, four hip hop dancers. It questions the capacity to transform and be transformed by contact with images: Art'GentiK, or creating a reflection, a gap, a fixation on time...
